The Comedy Nest microphone is called “Wondermic” and was hand-carved from a tree that was struck by lightning.
Our stage was built out of pine, because pine trees are known as the comedians of the forest.
Backstage we have a gym, basketball court, and olympic-size pool for our MCs to stay loose while the acts are on.
On nights when we don’t have shows, we practice seating and serving people using stuffed animals.
The club was named after two of Montreal’s founding fathers: Jebediah Comedy and Joseph Cornelius Nest.
